BLOOR ST W / CHRISTIE ST

THE STATION WITH THE BEST VIEW OF CHRISTIE PITS

With the addition of new bike lanes in Toronto, this central station is perfect for docking along your journey or stopping to enjoy this beautiful pocket of Toronto. Adjacent to Christie Pits Park, and Christie Subway Station, those that live in the area are probably quite familiar with the Bloor St W/ Christie St Station. Bloor Street’s booming local restaurant scene, and cool vintage shops are home to some gems. There is tons to do, see, eat, and experience along this strip and getting there has never been easier.

With limited events and activities happening this summer, we all quickly realized that spending time in parks was a perfect alternative. Christie Pits Park quickly became a hot spot for groups of millennials having picnics and enjoying a simpler way of having fun.

And if you need to get across town faster than your two wheels can take you, the subway station is right next door!

This station is no fresh face to the Bike Share Toronto Network. It has been operating for over 4 years, and accumulated over 30,750 trips.

Christie Pits Park has activities for all seasons! The park is home to three baseball diamonds, a soccer pitch, an outdoor pool, an outdoor hockey rink, and a splash pad. But if these activities aren’t your thing, you can easily find a picnic table or big tree to lounge and enjoy the fall weather. There is even a community garden off the south-west path.

Christie Pits is an anchor to some great Toronto Neighbourhoods sitting near the boundaries of Bloorcourt, The Annex and Koreatown.
