Deployed in June 2020, this station is part of the exciting Bike Share Toronto expansion. Lakeshore Blvd W + Thirty Ninth St is one of 160 new stations being launched which will grow the system’s new footprint to span 200km2 of the city. The station is a convenient five-minute walk from Long Branch GO station and a stroll away from the picturesque Etobicoke Creek. There is plenty to see and do in this area of the city and we’ve got some great suggestions to help riders discover new areas with Bike Share Toronto!
Unlock a bike and head down to the Marie Curtis Park East Beach – one of the few beaches in North America named after a female community leader – and relax on the sand whilst taking in the scenic views of Lake Ontario. One of many spots for recreation and relaxation in the area, the nearby Long Branch Park includes a bike trail, children’s playground and is a terrific spot to watch a beautiful Toronto sunrise during the summer months. The area also features a number of local eateries and coffee shops which should keep your hunger at bay and thirst quenched!
