Bike Share Toronto is delighted to welcome Scarborough Pilot Area to the system – and to celebrate, we thought we’d spotlight a newly-deployed station in the eastern part of the city. Located at the southern end of the High Creek Trail, there is plenty to see and do in the neighbourhoods surrounding our Livingston Rd (High Creek Trail) station. Unlock a bike, then simply head north through the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of the High Creek Trail – or ride directly south and pay a visit to the We Got Plants Garden Centre, which showcases a wide range of vegetables and plants available for purchase for your own home. Over 100 years old, the Scarboro Golf and Country Club – located just a short ride west from this station – is an ideal place to relax or bring out your competitive edge. Having hosted four Canadian Opens, the spectacular course is a sight to behold. To the northwest, the Cedar Ridge Creative Centre is the home to contemporary, classic visual and folk-art exhibits. Its upper floor also features working studio spaces that offer hands-on creative arts programs for visitors of all ages. Meanwhile, just southeast of the station is the Guild Inn Estate, a hotel and events space with a storied history and a sculpture garden well worth seeing!
