Meet Rupal,

What station do you consider to be your “home station”? Are there other stations that are key to your use patterns and helping you get around the city?

I usually am around the waterpark place building so the Bay St/ Queens Quay W (Ferry Terminal) is my go to or, ‘home station’. I also go from Union Station to George Brown College so those would be the other stations I use frequently.

What would you consider to be the “local gems” or spots you love to frequent in your community using Bike Share

I am a Coffee Person and am just starting to discover new cafes in Toronto. I love to use Bike Share Toronto to go to these places and try different coffees. So far, I’ve been to Sud Furno, Dineen, and Music Garden cafe.

What do you love the most about using Bike Share and what value do you find in using the system?

I love the fact that Bike Share Toronto has electric bikes. As much as I love that it adds a little physical activity to my day, some days are so tiring that I just like to find an electric bike and simply ride around Harbourfront. It calms me down and I always feel a lot better after it.

What made you start riding with Bike Share?

I was trying to figure out how to reach my college from Union Station and I would either take the TTC or walk when the weather was good. However, I felt that paying for a bus just for a 17 mins ride was too much and realized Bike Share Toronto was much cheaper and also faster because cars and buses take more time because of Toronto’s traffic.
