One of the pillars that defines our Bike Share Toronto Team Philosophy is “It all comes down to getting it done and having fun doing it!” And giving back to the community? We certainly have fun doing it.
Back in 2018, the Bike Share Toronto Team had the honour of visiting Ronald McDonald House Charities in Toronto, helping The House continue to give families the support and comfort they need. “Since 1981, Ronald McDonald House Charities® Toronto has served as a place to call home for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment.”

Stocked with carts full of groceries, we wheeled into the Ronald McDonald House kitchen facilities and got straight to work. Preparing lunches for families, we helped achieve The House’s mission of making their house a “home away from home.” Spending the day with an incredible group of volunteers and families, the Bike Share Toronto Team walked away inspired. We look forward to our fall visit!
After perfecting the assembly line and making some pretty delicious sandwiches for the families, the Team got together to support their own. June, 2018 brought Bike Month, as well as Free Ride Wednesday Brought To You By CAA, at Bike Share Toronto. The Mobile Bike Team, Brand Ambassadors, Re-balancers, Drivers and Station Technicians were all hitting the streets to make sure our city had bikes, bikes, bikes!
In celebration of summer, the Bike Share Toronto Team came together to help clean up within the community, one park at a time. With garbage bags in tow, we headed to Riverdale Park East to kick off our community clean-up. Combing the 18-hectare park collecting unwanted trash, the team left the Danforth and Broadview park squeaky clean for summertime fun.
What better way to spend a sunny afternoon than enjoying Toronto’s green spaces?
Kicking off the busy season is not complete without a Bike Share Toronto Family BBQ! The Team is full of passion, commitment and all-around positivity; those are some of the supporting pillars of the Bike Share Toronto work culture.
Who’s up for some slack-lining in the park?!
We ended 2018 with our annual clothing drive. With the winter months upon us, we rallied the Bike Share Toronto team to donate warm clothing to our local community centre. We rang in 2019 knowing that a few more Torontonians would stay warm through the winter months thanks to our team.
What’s next on the list? Keep an eye out for the Bike Share Toronto team in your neighbourhood. We’re excited to help write our future in the community!
