As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, Bike Share Toronto remains open for urgent and essential transportation needs. While we are continuing operations to help support those who need to travel on an urgent basis, we ask that you use the CycleFinder app, website or your member key to practice physical distancing.
At Bike Share Toronto, we are committed to keeping our customers and staff safe. As such, we have ramped up our cleaning program during the COVID-19 crisis. These new measures, however, do not guarantee that all bikes will be 100% clean at all times, given that they are regularly in use and exposed to the environment. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you take the steps outlined in the City of Toronto’s COVID-19 Health Advisory when using the Bike Share Toronto system.
Bike Share Toronto is introducing a new simple way to unlock a bike and get riding! Coming soon to a bike near you, riders will be able to unlock and release a bike by simply scanning a QR code on the bike via the CycleFinder app. Users will now have the option of unlocking a bike one of 4 ways: inserting an annual member key card, a QR code, a digital code from the CycleFinder app or a code from the kiosk. Stay tuned for more details!
To avoid account suspension or system access interruption, we require all members to update their billing information via our website or the CycleFinder App. Bike Share Toronto is working to convert payment processing platforms from Global Payments to Moneris. Please login and re-submit your billing information to save your profile on the Moneris platform.
“My main reason for using Bike Share is for my job. Bike Share has allowed me to make deliveries for almost 4 years without having to buy my own bike. I also don’t have to worry about regular maintenance since Bike Share takes care of that. Furthermore, it’s really convenient that I can pick up or drop off a bike at any of hundreds of docking stations around the city.”
Until June’s edition…
