What a summer it’s been for Bike Share Toronto and our riders! This summer saw the release of 225 newly branded e-bikes hit the city, record ridership pushing over 3 MILLION trips taken, and the launch of our new mobile website, which now revolutionizes the way you can unlock bikes and purchase passes. You helped us break records and achieve new milestones!

As the days get shorter and the weather cools, we’re excited to ride into fall together, one trip at a time!

Come one, come all to Bike Share Toronto’s Demo Day on Thursday, September 28th at our Queen St W / Bay St (City Hall) station between 11 AM – 1 PM! Demo e-bikes, learn about how the system works or just come by to say “Hi!”. Our team will be waiting to welcome you!

A *NEW* Way to Ride is Here! Have You Tried It? 🤳

We launched a NEW way to unlock bikes and purchase short-term passes. Simply go tot bikesharetoronto.com on your mobile for all your Bike Share access needs: generate ride codes, purchase short-term passes (single trip, 24H and 72H), sign up for an annual membership or manage your account!

For our members, in addition to having one more way to unlock bikes easily, the new members portal houses all your account needs from your user dashboard. Here you can update your billing information, see trips taken, view transaction histpory and request or activate a key card. Login and have a look!

 Our Annual Members love using Bike Share and with two membership options (Annual 30 and Annual 45), it’s the easy choice to commute and navigate the city all year long for as little as $10 a month!

August Station Updates

INSTALLED

Queen St W / Claremont St

REMOVED

Davenport Rd / Bedford Rd station has been removed to accommodate upgrades to cycling infrastructure along Davenport Rd. This is a temporary removal.
Lake Shore Blvd W / Ontario Pl Blvd station has been removed to add docks to other surrounding stations for the CNE.
Bloor Go / UP Station (West Toronto Rail Path) station has been removed due to the West Toronto Rail Path realignment project (realignment work is undergoing along the existing portion from Dupont to Dundas).

Queen St W / Claremont St station has been removed after being recently installed, and a new location will be determined soon.

RELOCATED

Cherry St / Mill St is being relocated due to trenching work. The station is being relocated to the northwest corner of the intersection and is a short-term relocation.
Jarvis St / Maitland Pl has been relocated back to its original location southeast of the intersection on Jarvis St following the completion of watermain replacement.
Temperance St station has been relocated to Temperance St / Bay St due to trenching work on Temperance.
Princes Gate / Nunavut Dr Station has been relocated to the southwest corner of Ontario Place Blvd / Lake Shore Blvd W in preparation for the CNE.
Lee Ave / Queen St E station has been relocated to Lumsden Ave / Cedarvale Ave to service the area, given a larger e-station was installed at the Lee Ave carpark.
Exhibition GO station has been relocated to the southwest corner of Lake Shore Blvd W and Ontario Place Blvd in preparation for the CNE.
Scott St / The Esplanade station has been relocated to the southwest corner of Church St / The Esplanade due to watermain and sewer replacement on Scott St. The is a temporary relocation.
Wellington St W / Portland St station has been relocated to Portland St / Niagara St along the north side of Portland St due to watermain work. This is a temporary relocation.
Adelaide St / Portland St station has been relocated to St. Andrew’s Playground Park due to watermain work along Portland St. This is a temporary relocation.
Queen St W / Portland St station has been relocated to Wolseley St / Augusta Ave due to watermain work along Portland St. This is a temporary relocation.
Stewart St / Bathurst St station has been relocated to the north side of King St / Portland St due to watermain work along Stewart St.
Widmer St / Adelaide St station has been relocated to Widmer St / King St W due to construction along Adelaide St.
Emerson Ave / Bloor St W station has been relocated along south side on Bloor St W between Emerson Ave and Marguertta St.
