We are thrilled to let you know that the NEW Bike Share Toronto app officially launched on, Monday, May 13th and the response so far has been tremendous!

With enhanced features like route planning, cycling maps and streamlined purchase options – jumping on a bike has never been easier! Developed in collaboration with PBSC Urban Solutions, the new app brings Torontonians a simplified experience and enhanced functionality. If you haven’t already, switch over from the old and get on the new Bike Share Toronto app!

May 17th is FREE Ride Day!

Tangerine and Bike Share Toronto are kicking off summer with a day of free bike rides­.

To celebrate the launch of the new Bike Share Toronto App and the start of summer biking season, Tangerine Bank and Bike Share Toronto have created a special promotion – anyone who downloads the new app can ride for free on Friday, May 17, 2024, courtesy of Tangerine Bank, Bike Share Toronto’s Exclusive Presenting Partner.

Riders can simply download the new app, select the $0 Day Pass, follow the online prompts, and go to any Bike Share station across Toronto on May 17 to access unlimited free 90-minute rides.  Tangerine and Bike Share Toronto invite you to hop on a bike and rediscover the joys of summer in the city. Mark your calendars and get ready to pedal on May 17th!

 Weekend Valet Service is Starting Soon

The good news keeps rolling in! We’re thrilled to announce that our weekend valet service is back starting Saturday, May 18th at two waterfront stations! 

Riders can easily access a bike and have a guaranteed spot to dock, making your trip hassle-free. Stop by and let our valet team assist you in getting on your way for a seamless weekend biking experience.

New Commuter Superstation at Temperance St Station 📍

 Exciting news for commuters in the core! As of yesterday, Temperance St Station is a new weekday commuter superstation, offering valet service weekdays from 7-10 am. Use this station for guaranteed docking space and bikes.

Please note valet service will be suspended at Queen St E / Bond St station as of next week. Riders should divert to valet service at Temperance St Station moving forward.

We Hit 1 Million Trips Last Month! 🎉

We ended April on an exciting note because we hit the 1 million trips mark on April 18th! What’s more, is we achieved this ridership milestone a whopping 16 days earlier than last year. 

Your support and enthusiasm for Bike Share Toronto continues to pedal us forward in promoting sustainable transportation in our great city. We’ve got the momentum, so put your bets in now if you think we’ll have record breaking ridership in 2024!
